A woman was found seriously injured on Saturday morning in a house on the Nollekenshoeve in Helmond. The police have investigated the house all day to find out if there is a crime. A man has been arrested.

On Saturday morning around eight o’clock it was reported to the police that there was a seriously injured woman in the house. The moment the police found her, there were no other people in the house. The woman was transferred to the trauma center of the Elisabeth-TweeSteden Hospital in Tilburg.

According to a police spokesperson, it became clear around noon that there might have been more going on in the house. The police therefore started with forensic investigation. Part of the street was closed off.

Researchers in white suits walked in and out at the house. The spokesperson indicates that it is not yet clear whether there is a crime. Research is also being done at the house on Sunday. The police cannot say anything about the man who was arrested except that he did not stay in the house.

The police do not want to say anything about the ages of the victim and the arrested man. Also whether and how the two know each other has not been announced.
