Chinese media report development ‘cable cutter’ for deep sea: all existing cables can be eliminated with this

China has developed a device to cut communication cables or other pipes in the deep sea. According to, among others, the South China Morning Post (SCMP), the device has been developed by a maritime scientific research center and an institute that deals with undersea manned or unmanned vessels.
