Today it was that time again: the cows of a dairy farm in Fluitenberg were allowed to go outside for the first time this year. Some cows are so happy that they were hopping and dancing the whey.
Every year the cows do the so -called cow dance if they can go outside again for the first time and smell the meadow. Hundreds of people gathered in Fluitenberg to see the phenomenon with their own eyes.
According to farmer Stefan Mul, the dance of the black and white spotted ladies is now a tradition for many people. Every year more interested people come to watch. “We have been doing this for years. And it is getting bigger and bigger. I think there have been 600 people this time.”
For the time being, the cows only go outside during the day. When the weather gets warmer and the grass grows a little harder, the cows also stay in the meadow at night.
