Radio Finland’s software experienced major changes early in the year as a result of YLE’s change negotiations, when all provincial broadcasts were ended.
In January, the people of Lapland reported that the broadcasts of Radio Finland are now nationwide from Tampere. However, there are “provincial windows” within national broadcasts, or local content. Regional radio news broadcasts have been preserved in the software.

The comment box has been filled with discussion. Many regret that localism disappears from the broadcasts of YLE.
– Savings have apparently started on issues that are also visible to the recipients. There is no intervention in massive administrative costs. Ideologically vibrated and nonsense programs can continue, because no one would be annoying to leave, says another commentator.
-Never mentioned in Southwest Finland or Satakunta. On Monday and Tuesday, only Tampere, Imatra and Kouvola, one of the commentators list.
