From March 17 to 30, the World Championships of Ski Freestyler and Snowboarders take place in St. Moritz. Medals are awarded in eight different disciplines – Germans are also the closest favorite group in some decision.
The Swiss Engadine becomes the hotspot of freestyle skis and snowboarders between March 17th and 30th. The medal decisions are held on the Corvatsch, on the Corviglia and in St. Moritz-in the disciplines of slopestyle, Halfpipe, Big Air, Cross, parallel giant slalom, parallel slalom, aerials and moguls.
The Venues: St. Moritz, Corbach, Corviglia
The freestyle skis and snowboarders will compete in three different locations: Big Air competitions are held in the Nobelskiort St. Moritz-the award ceremony also takes place here. On the Corvatsch, one of the largest snow parks in the Alpine region, the athletes fight in the disciplines of Halfpipe, snowboard and slopestyle competitions for precious metal. Snowboard and ski crossing, moguls, aerials and snowboard parallels, on the other hand, are planned on the Corviglia mountain.

Who transfers the races?
ARD and ZDF alternately report in detail about the title fights. You can follow many of the decisions live in the first or ZDF and in the ARD and ZDF media libraries.
Skicross: Wilmsmann and Maier count Favorites
The German ski chic Florian Wilmsmann and Daniela Maier are among the top favorites. Wilmsmann is currently driving the season of his life. The 29-year-old was already on the podium five times this season, twice even at the top (Innichen, Reiteralm). In the overall ranking, the Tegernseer is currently in second place behind the Italian Simone Deromedis.
Daniela Maier was also able to show six podiums and two wins (both in Innichen) and is considered a top candidate on precious metal. However, the competition is strong: in the overall ranking there are three athletes in front of her, all of whom are looking at the medal: the Swiss Fanny Smith and the two Canadians Marielle Thompson and India Shern have already celebrated wins this winter.
Leon Ulbricht: From the World Cup victory to the first medal?
With Leon Ulbricht, a Bavarian is also part of the expanded favorite group in Snowboard Cross. In Chinese Beidahu he finished second, in Erzurum in Turkey the athlete cheered from SC Rotteln over his second World Cup victory. With the great self-confidence of success, it should also work in the Engadin with the first World Cup medal.
Snowboarder Hofmeister chases World Cup gold
Ramona Hofmeister also wants to crown her grandiose season with at least one medal. After the difficult start to the winter, her knot burst her in January: With six season wins in the account, the four-time World Cup overall winner is a clear victory candidate. In St. Moritz she chases her first World Cup gold bronze (Park City, 2019) and silver (Rogla, 2021).
Does Muriel Mohr succeed?
The boy Muriel Mohr was the breakthrough in the current season succeeded. In October, the 18-year-old provided her first World Cup podium in the Big Air in Chur, Switzerland, and in January she followed the big-air event in Klagenfurt. With a few other top ten placements, the Oberbayin has shown consistency over the past few weeks and months-and is now part of the top of the world.
