The Russian attack on Yavoriv – a Ukrainian town near the Polish border – on Sunday morning targeted foreign mercenaries there, Russia’s defense ministry said. At least 35 people were killed and at least 134 were injured in the rocket fire on the western Ukrainian military base near the Polish border, possibly also Dutch. Russia claims more people were hit.
