The German clothing provider Olymp Bezner KG is expanding in e-commerce. On Monday, the shirting specialist from Bietigheim-Bissingen announced that his Label Olympus opened his own online shop in Switzerland.
“After the success of the country shops in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Luxembourg, Switzerland is already the seventh sales market in which the fashion brand Olympus starts with its e-business,” says a message.
The Swiss web shop is “available in German, English and French” and enabled purchases in the state currency Swiss francs, the clothing provider said. The delivery of the customers: The inside of Switzerland is via the Logistics Center of Olympus in Bietigheim-Bissingen and the long-standing Swiss logistics partner M+R Spedag Group AG in Schaffhausen.
Kai Graf, the managing director of Olymp, responsible for sales, explained the digital expansion step. “Switzerland is one of our most important export markets. Olympus has long been established in Swiss specialist retailers. We want to further intensify this proven cooperation with our trading partners, ”he emphasized in a statement. “At the same time, we endeavor to further strengthen our own sales activities in the course of our corporate strategy and consistently advance the internationalization of the Olympus brand.”
