Ex-Bundesliga star reports to Horror-Foul

Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta was seriously injured in a cup game. Now he and the club gave an update after his bad injury.
Former Bundesliga striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who is now playing for Crystal Palace, experienced a bad moment against second division FC Millwall in the English Cup, the FA Cup-and a horror leaul. Millwall keeper Liam Roberts went out of his goal a few minutes after the game started to clarify the ball at the head height of Palace player Mateta. During the completely missed attempt, Roberts met the former Mainz striker with the tunnels of his left shoe on the side of the head (more about the foul you read here).
The offensive player and ex-Mainz had to be supplied with an oxygen mask and came to the hospital. Mateta reported from this, wrote in his Instagram story on a black underground: “Thank you very much for all dear news. I am fine. I hope that I will be back very soon. And stronger than ever.” He also congratulated his team on 3-1 win.
Crystal Palace news announced on Saturday evening. On the club website, the club wrote: “We are very happy to be able to confirm that JP Mateta was released from St. George’s Hospital tonight, where he received a specialist treatment and a heavy cut on the left was sewn with 25 stitches. All scans were inconspicuous and JP is fine.”
The club also wrote that it still had to rest and would then recover. The club doctor monitors its development. Coach Oliver Glasner explained: “I think he’ll be the Ipswich game [am 8.
