From today, the province of Drenthe is tackling the intersections at the Phileas Foggstraat and Abel Tasmanstraat on the Rondweg (N391) in Emmen. The traffic lights are being replaced and the asphalt is adjusted.
During the work, one lane with two lanes will remain available on the Rondweg, which can lead to traffic disruption. The traffic is diverted via signs, and (moped) cyclists get a separate diversion route.
The work is carried out in four phases, where each phase starts with a weekend closure of the relevant part of the ring road. The weekend closures are needed for the construction and dismantling of the various temporary traffic measures.
