FC Schalke 04 won a very important victory in the debut of goalkeeper Loris Karius in the 2nd Bundesliga. Against the direct competitor Prussia Münster, the team of coach Kees van Wonderen won 1-0 (0: 0) through a late goal by Pape Meïssa Ba (86th minute).
The Schalke, who had previously lost three times in four games, initially settled something from the direct relegation places. With 30 points from 24 games, the royal blue are now in contact with the lower midfield.
