Announcement to the Public Opinion
As a result of our investigations when we took office in January 2025, we found that the Exchange mail server became unusable by fault in November 2024 and that the reserves could not be reached in this process. It was determined that the system was re -established by creating databases after about 20 days.
In the personnel interviews we have held, it has been forwarded to us that many employees could not access their old mails and some users have not been informed that the transfer of their old mails took place, but they could not reach many emails.
In the light of these developments, a detailed study has been initiated in order to detect the EXCANGE mail server and the data in it, to carry out rescue studies and to transfer the relevant mail accounts completely. As a result of the technical reports prepared, the necessary service procurement and investment specifications were established and related processes were initiated.
However, in the examinations carried out on the File Server in our club on 6 February 2025, it was found that the files of PDF format for 2024 examined by the Audit Board disappeared. In the detailed investigations carried out by expert teams on the subject, the following findings have been reached:
-Data loss also experienced in backup systems after residual,
-No log recording can be accessed,
-Thek has been reported to us that there is a powerful suspicions that this deletion process could not be determined, but this process was made intentionally and consciously.
This report, which was prepared by the Audit Board, was published on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 and is detailed on page 13 of the relevant report.
Since these developments have been a strong conviction that a deliberate intervention was made to the IT systems of our club, our official application has been made to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office within the scope of unauthorized access to the IT system, blocking the system, destroying or changing data.
