An afternoon to forget for Eintracht Braunschweig: The supposed compensation in Fürth is whistled back. Then the BTSV goes under.

Eintracht Braunschweig slips deep into the relegation zone after the 23rd matchday. The team’s appearance at 0: 3 in Fürth was a big disappointment.

Noel Futkeu met the lead early (10th minute) before Julian Green (88th) and ex-Braunschweiger Jomaine Consbruch (90.+8) in the final phase. However, the Eintracht could have come back into the game: Rayan Philippe’s goal for the supposed 1: 1 (83rd) was revoked due to offside.

Goalkeeper Ron-Torchen Hoffmann is annoyed by Sky: “If the 1-1 counts, it looks very different. It is an inarticulation that we fall apart afterwards. It just doesn’t work.” Curious: It would have been the first goal for Lennart Grill, who was still a regular goalkeeper of the BTSV until the 9th matchday and was only substituted for the injured Nahuel Noll in the 81st minute.

Braunschweig presented itself harmless, especially in the first half: the defensive seemed overwhelmed, the team of coach Daniel Schering remained pale at the front. At the break, the 41-year-old changed three times, but even with fresh forces there was no turn.

Most recently, Eintracht Braunschweig worked with two victories from 17th to 15th place, which would mean safe relegation. After the bankruptcy in Fürth, the BTSV completes the matchday on relegation place 16.
