The television week started on Monday loaded with the TV action for Ukraine. Eva Jinek, who was one of the presenters of the whole, looked back on it yesterday in her talk show with AD opinediva Angela de Jong. Did Angela find it difficult to write a column about the action program? Was it a rewarding subject?

Not really, says Angela. “I don’t know if it’s such a rewarding subject, because what can you actually do with it as a columnist? I was a bit with that. Look, I could have made a piece about Bridget Maasland’s hat, with which she sat in that call panel as a kind of Minion (a yellow animation film character, ed.), but I didn’t think that was very appropriate either.”
So that column about Bridget never came. “I mean, you watch and you try to get something out of it that people will want to read the next day or something that she didn’t notice, but it was actually a pretty good show. Yes, it sounds crazy, but it was just decent. What was done was done…”
