Taylan Bulut is the biggest winner of the current season at FC Schalke 04 and was rewarded with a contract extension. On Monday, the royal blue announced the signature of the 19-year-old until 2029. In the new working paper, an exit clause is included.
“Taylan’s development is very impressive. With his calm, dynamics and passport security, he immediately prevailed in the 2nd Bundesliga thanks to the good training in the club smithy. In his position, he regularly convinces with great running workload, high speed and good duel behavior. At the same time, he brings the will to improve his game in all areas. We want to support him further, ”explained Youri Mulder, director of professional football at Schalke 04.
Bulut has established himself as a regular player on the right defensive side since the change of coach. Overall, he has 18 missions (1 goal/1 template) for the professional team this season and increased its market value to 2 million euros.
According to the “WAZ”, a sum far above it is necessary to buy the youngster out of his contract. Depending on the country, league and athletic quality, interested clubs have to pay different numbers. Participation in the Champions League is also crucial, but at least it is 8 million euros. Most recently, Assan Ouédraogo brought a sum of this size when he switched to RB Leipzig for EUR 10 million.
