      Who gets the title?

In addition to Feller, Meillard and Straßer, the Frenchman Clement Noël and the two Norwegians Timon Haugan, who was able to win the last slalom in the World Cup, and Henrik Kristofersen, his sign world champion from 2023, are definitely to be mentioned with a view to the favorite drivers. But it is known that there can be surprises in the slalom: Even a Lucas Pinheiro Braathen who starts for Brazil will also calculate opportunities.

      Four Confederates at the start

Switzerland is also represented with four athletes. Loïc Meillard starts directly behind Linus Straßer in a seventh place and is considered a Swiss driver with the best prospects. Daniel Yule (13), Tanguy Nef (17) and Marc Rochat (23) also dare to cross the pole forest. With twelve medals, four golden, Switzerland is the most successful nation of this ski World Cup. The Confederates would probably not mind expanding this balance.

The last medal chance of the DSV

A podium placement was not yet granted at this World Cup. So far, it has been a maximum of sixth place. From a German perspective, all hopes are now on Linus Straßer, who is the only driver for black and red gold. The 32-year-old Munich starts at sixth starting position and is one of the promising candidates for a podium placement. This requires two good runs from the Zwölferkogel down to the finish.
