“I’m 100 percent against the AfD,” says the rapper.
The Bundestag election is pending. The election is chosen on February 23, but many are afraid – due to the increasing background of the right – from the result. In the course of this, Shirin David is now speaking and clarifies: For you, choosing the AfD is out of the question.
Shirin David: “I vomit”
The native of Hamburg spoke to “Stern” and clearly positioned herself in the interview against the party, which describes itself as an alternative for Germany. “I am 100 percent against the AfD,” said the “Bramfeld Storys” interpreter in conversation, which was published on February 12th. And she continued: “I represent values such as feminism, self -determination, democracy, freedom of expression as a person and also in my music. That’s why I am very, very sad what is happening. “
However, the musician known for her plug -in and feminist texts would also have a wish for politics: “That more women come in decision -making positions.” David wants to hold on to one to competence. “I am not in favor of filling jobs on bending and breaking with women. That is nonsense, ”says the musician who was awarded a Bambi Award in 2024. “But the most competent people I work with are women,” she said.
In the conversation, David was also asked if it would scare her that the AfD with Alice Weidel at the top was the second strongest party, according to surveys. The rapper has a clear answer: “I vomit.”
“Men are so afraid”
Shirin David also addressed sexuality to “star”. She herself would identify as bisexual and was annoyed by the fact that some people would only limit other people to their sexuality. “You can’t choose what kind of sexual identity you have,” said the 29-year-old before she continued “I don’t like it if people only define you through your sexual identity. According to the motto: of course you are like that, you are also bisexual. Many heterosexual men define gay men in this way. I like to press sayings and then notice that men are so afraid. “
According to David, this fear is not necessarily bad intentions. “When I question these men, there is usually no factual argument. They are often just anxious, ”said Shirin David. Then she pushed after: “Someone said: heterosexual men are afraid that gay men treat them as heterosexual men treat women.”
