Transfer hammer: Ginter change to FC Bayern fixed?

FC Bayern may be on the verge of signing another German international. Allegedly, the name of Gladbach’s Matthias Ginter is now being traded more hotly at the record champions. Some are said to even assume that the deal is already perfect.

Antonio Rudiger? Too expensive. Andrew Christensen? Don’t want to go to Munich. Gleison Bremer? Is courted by numerous wealthy clubs. Nico Schlotterbeck? Too inexperienced. Matthijs de Ligt? Too expensive and not available.

Slowly but surely, FC Bayern are running out of options when it comes to a new central defender. This is probably one of the reasons why Gladbach’s Matthias Ginter is now considered a “hotter candidate” again according to “Bild”.

Actually, the people of Munich had more or less already decided against Ginter. Both “Bild” and “Sport1” reported doubts from the executive floor about the German national player. The development on the market could now lead to a change of course.

Is Ginter already in agreement with FC Bayern?

In Gladbach, so “Bild” writes, “behind closed doors” are told that the change from Ginter to FC Bayern is already fixed.

However, the newspaper itself writes that they don’t want to know anything about a perfect deal in Munich. As before, there are said to be some doubters among those responsible. It remains to be seen whether they can still change their minds.

Is Ginter the best option for FC Bayern?

It is obvious that Ginter is an option for Munich. Not only his sporting advantages and his experience at international level speak for him. At the same time, it would probably be the cheapest solution out of all the candidates mentioned so far.

Ginter’s contract in Gladbach expires in the summer, so he does not have to pay a fee. And the 28-year-old would probably be more willing to make concessions than the other candidates in the salary negotiations.
