The large concert hall of the Kursaal Ostend appears to be a true engine for the local economy. Now that the room is closed for restoration, the hospitality industry in the neighborhood really appears to be abandoned: some things have a third less turnover. The restoration lasts more than two years, so Ostend is fully committed to an alternative in the smaller room, with the foyer concerts.
