The recognition is delivered within the framework of the International Maintenance Conferencea reference event in the industry that brings together specialists from around the world to share best practices and technological advances in physical asset management. The Uptime Awards jury is composed of experts in reliability and maintenance engineering, who evaluate companies in five key areas:

In 2024, for the first time in the history of the contest, a Latin American company was distinguished with the highest awards of the Uptime Awards: Axion Energywhich was recognized by its reliability and maintenance program in the Campana Refinery.
