Disputes between Imane Khelif and IBA continue.

Algerian boxing Olympic champion Imane khelif25, may not participate in the women’s World Cup. The issue was decided by the International Boxing Association (IBA), which organizes the race, reported Bild.

The decision cannot be considered surprising. The Russian-led IBA discouraged the Khelif from the pre-Olympic World Cup, when according to test results, Khelif did not pass IBA sex tests.

Khelif won the Olympic gold in under 66 kg last summer in Paris. He became one of the biggest topics in the race when his sex was questioned.

According to the IOC, the IBA of the International Boxing Association IBA’s decision to exclude athletes out of the 2023 World Cup was wrong.

– These two athletes are the victims of the IBA’s surprising and arbitrary decision. At the end of the World Championships, they were suddenly disgusted and without the appropriate process, the release stated.

– Anger against these two athletes is only the reason for this arbitrary decision, which was not done properly. Especially if you take into account that these athletes have competed at the highest level for years.

IBA is losing its position as an umbrella organization in Olympic style. It was not allowed to monitor and organize the Olympic boxes in Paris, but was handled by the International Olympic Committee.
