New marketing director at Topshop

Moses Rashid, the founder of the sneaker reselling platform The Edit LDN, changes to Asos. There he was appointed Global Marketing Director for the Topshop and Topman brands.

The entrepreneur announced his appointment at the LinkedIn career network. There he stated that his focus will be on the definition of the marketing strategy of the brands, the structure of global brand awareness, the renewed address of the target group and the implementation of a plan to resume e-commerce for top shop.

Rashid will report to Michelle Wilson, the managing director of Topshop and Topman, which is currently being rebuilt the presence of the brands outside of ASOS, in particular by the resumption of e-commerce and about new retail partners: inside.

Topshop is currently owned by ASOS and the investment company Heartland, which last September acquired a 75 percent participation in the two brands and raised 135 million British pounds to support ASOS in refinancing the business. In return, ASOS has secured certain design and sales rights for Topman and Topshop for a license fee.

Rashid already announced his farewell to The Edit LDN in January, where he thanked everyone who supported the company since its foundation five years ago. In the announcement, Rashid said that the company has undergone a restructuring, a great change and sales of eight million pounds since its foundation. He concluded with the words: “I wish the company all the best and will always be proud of how we have revolutionized the sneaker market together.”
