Boateng brother becomes sporting director at Viktoria Berlin

George Boateng is the new sporting director of the soccer regional league FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin. The club announced this on Saturday. The 42-year-old will take over the job from now on, it said. Boateng already pursued the 1-1 between Viktoria Berlin and Altglienicke in the stadium.
George Boateng is more known as a rapper under the name BTNG than for his career as a footballer. Viktoria Managing Director Zeljko Karajica said about George Boateng’s commitment: “He knows Berlin football as a player and official, has a large network and will compete with motivation and enthusiasm.”
According to the club announcement, Boateng himself said that he was “huge” looking forward to the task. “Viktoria Berlin has enormous potential and I will do everything I can to be able to exploit it even better in the next few years.” The association did not provide any details on the contract term.
