Coach Niko Kovač starts at BVB on Sunday. For the upcoming games, he can possibly fall back on a new defender.
Borussia Dortmund is apparently just to hire left -back Daniel Svensson from FC Nordsjaelland. As the Pay TV broadcaster Sky reports, the 22-year-old Swede is to be loaned with a purchase option.
As a result, the Bundesliga club and the Danish club have generally agreed on the change. Svensson, who is still under contract in Denmark until 2026, is only waiting for the final release to travel to Germany.
The defensive player was used this season in all 17 league games of his club over the full distance. In October he also made his debut in the Swedish national team. With Svensson, the future BVB coach Niko Kovač could get another option for the left defense shortly after taking office.
