New Rammstein song: Watch the video for “Zeit” here

Rammstein have released a new song – the single “Zeit” was launched on March 10th at 5 p.m. with an accompanying music video. Here you can see the clip:

Matching the title, the song also started with an atmospheric countdown – then a black screen until the Rammstein logo appeared. The band floats in the water, matching the lyrics: “We are drifting towards the end”. As the video progresses, it becomes clear: the sequences sometimes play out backwards: the band has capsized. They are seen as soldiers, later in a dystopian birth scene, while time runs like sand behind the mothers-to-be. Dark, mystical figures seem to be in control of life and death. “When our time has come, it’s time to go. Stop when it’s most beautiful, the clocks stop.”

Rammstein: The new album “Zeit” should follow soon

According to producer Sven Helbig, the album of the same name has been in the drawer for a long time. Lack of paper was given as the reason for the delay. Delivery bottlenecks would currently make it impossible for the band to produce enough booklets and covers. Despite all this, the album should be released before the US tour in May.
