After a temporary insolvency proceedings for Görtz Retail GmbH had already been registered for Görtz Retail GmbH last week, managing director Bolko Kissling had to take this step for Görtz Holding GmbH and Atlant Logistik GmbH, Görtz said on Wednesday.
As a result, the Hamburg Insolvency Court ordered the provisional insolvency administration on January 28 and Gideon Böhm from the Münzel & Böhm law firm appointed the provisional insolvency administrator. As an expert, the lawyer should check whether there is an opening reason and, if necessary, what prospects for the continuation of the companies. “Görtz Holding GmbH and Atlant Logistik GmbH were also part of the bankruptcy plan in 2023 and the extremely ambitious renovation concept. For this reason, we are also facing a very difficult starting point in these procedures, ”said Böhm. “Together with my team, I will get a comprehensive overview of all three Görtz companies at short notice, in particular to examine possible renovation prospects.”
At Görtz Retail GmbH, the opening of the procedure first followed by four external applications from landlords: inside. Kissling has now joined the applications and submitted his own application, as Böhm announced on Friday.
The branches remain open during the examination of the branch concept. For the approximately 400 employees of Görtz Retail GmbH, the Federal Employment Agency requested approval to pre -finance bankruptcy money. A corresponding application is also planned for the approximately 50 employees of Atlant Logistik GmbH and the around 55 employees of the Görtz Holding.
