For a moment it seemed that Dieuwertje Blok’s nose amputation would lead to a cancer -free life, but nothing could be further from the truth. Again cancer has been found in her and that means that she will definitely withdraw from the media world. She will now fully focus on her private life, a spokesperson for the NTR says.
Cancer is back
Dieuwertje would actually start again on 7 February as a presenter of the NPO Classic program NTR Podium, weekly on Friday. “She looked forward to that, together with the entire radio team,” said the broadcaster.
