Mathys Tel apparently has his nose fully from existence as a bank player. According to different sources, the 19-year-old wants to leave FC Bayern-and this winter.
Supertalent Mathys Tel apparently wants to leave FC Bayern Munich in the current winter transfer window. The Italian transfer expert and the TV broadcaster Sky are unanimous.
At the beginning of January, the 19-year-old Frenchman originally reaffirmed that they wanted to stay with the Munich. Now, however, he is said to have changed his opinion and already informed those responsible for the association.
So far, Tel has been used 13 times this season and contributed a template. Finally, however, he had to sit on the bench in three consecutive games, which is said to have made a significant contribution to his decision.
“According to Sky, Tel wants to leave the record champions in the current winter transfer window,” says a corresponding report.
Several clubs are said to be interested in Tel – including the English renown club FC Chelsea and France’s cult association Olympique Marseille. According to Sky, Tels Management is open to various transfer models. These ranged from a loan to a loan with a purchase option or obligation to buy to a fixed transfer.
Chelsea in particular is already planning talks after a transfer with subsequent exchange against the former Leipzig Christopher Nkunku was said to have been planned. The 27-year-old was elected Germany’s footballer of the year in 2023 after a furious season at RB.
The question is how Bayern will react to Tels supposed advance. Sports director Christoph Freund had emphasized at the beginning of January that the German football record champion is planning to do the top talent.
According to Sky, however, new talks with Tel are said to have taken place this week, whereupon he is said to have decided to change. The contract of the French U-national player at Bavaria runs until 2029.
