Marja Sannika is moving from Yle to communications agency Miltton.

Editor of Yle Marja Sannikka said at the beginning of last week that he was moving to the service of communications agency Miltton.

Sannikka told the reasons for changing jobs at Yle Kiosk’s 10th anniversary celebration.

– The root cause is probably that it’s nice to learn something new. I have been at Yle for 13.5 years, Sannikka said.

Sannikka has worked at Yle, for example, at Kiosk, Aamu-tv and A-studio.

Marja Sannikka arrived at Yle Kiosk’s party directly from the barn of her home, where she was taking care of a sick goat. He has five goats. ATTE KAJOVA

– A-studio is a wonderful place. But I have a bit of a feeling that I won’t learn any more at A-studio. It seemed to me that maybe now is such a moment, when I would have time to learn a new profession.

Yle said today that its change negotiations have ended. The number of personnel will decrease by 309 people. There are 156 resignations from the reduction.

– This is really sad. From what I’ve talked with my colleagues, of course it’s difficult, these are big surgeries.

Sannikka hopes that the surgeries will be done as sensibly as possible.

– In my opinion, it would be better not to “plan the cheese” but rather to abolish something. You have to prioritize and invest properly and more on the things you want to do and do them really well. And perhaps less of what commercial media can do.

Sannika has nothing bad to say about A-studio, even if she changes jobs.

Sannikka is currently on study leave, and she is studying glassblowing at the Iittala Technical College.

– It’s really difficult and outrageously fun. There is a wonderful feeling when you succeed in something that is difficult.
