ZDF Politbarometer: Merz at K question on advance
According to a survey for the ZDF Politbarometer, Union Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz, the K question clearly took the lead. Asked who would like to see from the four candidates for chancellor as Chancellor, Merz is again clearly in front of the green top candidate Robert Habeck with 25 percent (minus 2) with 31 percent (plus 4). Chancellor Olaf Scholz from the SPD (16 percent; plus 2) or Alice Weidel from the AfD (15 percent; unchanged) prefers to see significantly less. If you only put the K question on two people, Scholz cuts off much better than in the larger group, as the rather left-wing political situation is relatively closed. When worried to the question Scholz or Merz, Scholz has 42 percent (plus 1) and Merz to 46 percent (plus 2). Before the choice of having to choose between Merz and Habeck as the next Chancellor, Merz with 50 percent (plus 6) is again well before Habeck with only 37 percent (minus 4), according to the political barometer.
