Harry, 40, on Wednesday settled his years-long legal dispute with, among others, News Group Newspapers (NGN), the publisher of The Sun tabloid newspaper. Immediately after the decision, it was reported that NGN would pay Harry “significant damages”.

A legal expert interviewed by The Telegraph Alex Landin says that if there had been a trial and Harry had won, the judge might have awarded him less compensation than what he is now receiving.
