After his bizarre statements about B&B Vol Liefde candidate Jan, Aran Bade receives a corrective slap from media journalist Dennis Jansen. “Just stop with that horrible nonsense!”
It was quite surprising how eagerly RTL Boulevard jumped on a juice channel revelation about B&B Vol Liefde candidate Jan this week. That man appears to have posted naughty videos on the internet in the past as a kind of Ferry Doedens senior, but while Ferry is constantly being cuddled in the show section, Jan is practically lynched.
Small panties
Aran Bade stood at the desk as if that man had committed some kind of triple murder and that he doesn’t belong on television at all. “He is wearing very small underwear, which also comes off and then we clearly see sexual acts in those images. I still wonder what went wrong here,” said the showbiz reporter.
Colleague Vivienne van den Assem thought it was horrible for RTL that Jan confirmed the authenticity of those naughty videos. “He actually admits it. That actually seems extra annoying for RTL, because then you start thinking: why couldn’t we find that out ourselves?” she said. Ehh, what then?
Spastic
AD media journalist Dennis Jansen thinks it is a huge disappointment from RTL Boulevard. “There was a bit of a spastic attitude about it at RTL Boulevard, don’t you think? We are all going to see Halina Reijn’s film, that erotic thriller, we want to know everything about it,” he says in the AD Media Podcast.
Colleague Angela de Jong, the big star of the podcast, said: “And they cheer when Ferry Doedens or Famke Louise opens an account with OnlyFans.”
Incredible
That’s what makes it so hypocritical, according to Dennis. “And if there are masturbating images of someone who has done something in the past, then the world is too small. I find that really incredible.”
Angela: “I also think it’s twice as much: should you ask those candidates in advance? And what does it actually say now? They don’t get any further with that.”
Something strange
Dennis believes that RTL also has nothing to do with the intimate lives of candidates. “Isn’t it done to ask what you did in your bedroom? What is that weird thing?”
Angela: “Yes, but he did this on the worldwide web. He didn’t just do this in his bedroom, of course.”
Dennis: “Yes, but he also has to know that himself.”
Prepared
Angela understands if the producer wanted to know in advance. “As a producer, I understand that you want to be a little prepared. I’m not saying that man can’t be on TV shows anymore, but I would like to be prepared.”
Dennis: “I really don’t look at anyone else who has used drugs. Yes, guys, come on. How long ago? He has experimented. That man is 58.”
‘Stop it!’
Manuel Venderbos concludes that the AD media panel has no problem with that naughty B&B Vol Liefde candidate. “So that should be fine?”
Yes, says Dennis. He thinks that Aran has overreacted on television. “That man can just go on television, he hasn’t done anything to anyone. He didn’t do anything. Stop that horrible nonsense.”
