There are families who have lost everything. Donate clothes for adults and children, toys and basic necessities.”

Harry and Meghan are at risk: perhaps they will have to evacuate

The Sussexes have decided to help as much as possible the victims of the fires that have been devastating large areas of California since January 7th. The area in which it is located their villa in Montecito, not far from Santa Barbara, is located at a hundreds of kilometers north of Los Angeles and is not currently affected by the fires. However, they have already arrived in the nearest Malibu.

In the meantime, the Sussexes want to set an example and offer their help. The fact of residing in an area that has so far been spared from fires convinced the couple to open the doors of their luxurious, very private villa in Montecito to welcome those most in need. Chosen, however, from a group of Hollywood friends whose homes were destroyed in Los Angeles.

Harry and Meghan’s donations and other initiatives

Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, immediately carried out the procedure donations to charities who are taking care of the evacuees. But they won’t stop there. The couple reached out directly to relief officials to explore the most efficient ways to help Southern California communities and the hundreds of thousands of fire victims. And to begin with they donated – through Archewell – also large quantities of children’s clothes and supplies of basic necessities.

Prince Harry thinks of those who suffer

Together with his collaborators ad Archewell Harry is personally working to immediately set up voluntary initiatives to assist with the mental health of all evacuees, with professional teams available in all affected areas.

And with Meghan is also working for the World Central Kitchen, one of their favorite charities, in order to offer regular and free meals not only to all the evacuees but also to those involved in the difficult rescue operations.
