Jandino Asporaat is very pleased that Gordon will now also open a Blushing store in Curaçao, but hopes that the entertainer will take into account that things will move slower there. “Really getting used to it.”

Gordon has decided to open branches of his establishment Blushing on both Bonaire and Curaçao. Jandino Asporaat can also be found regularly on the latter island, because he has all kinds of projects going on there, including some nature park. He is very pleased that Gordon is now also coming to invest in the island.

Every month Curaçao

Jandino currently books a flight to Curaçao every month, but he would like to spend more time there in the long term. “However, I am still too enterprising in the Netherlands. When I’m a little older, I think it would be fun to turn the tables. That I will return to my island permanently and then visit the Netherlands every now and then.”

He continues in the Private: “I love Rotterdam, but I also understand that many people feel enormous love for Willemstad. Gerard Joling has been a resident here since the 1980s, Barry Hay lives there and Gordon is busy transferring his catering business.”

Slightly slower pace

Jandino states that Gordon is really very welcome on the island. “Everyone is enthusiastic about it and he constantly receives positive messages from locals.”

Jandino does fear that Goor will have to get used to the slowness of the locals. “The only thing he will have to get used to is the rhythm. The pace is a little slower eight thousand kilometers from Blaricum.”
