The returnplot of the episode

The disagreements do not depend on professional reasons, but on old disagreements. Glenn is the ex-boyfriend that Mackenzie literally walked out on her wedding day five years earlier. A wound that has never healed for Glenn who is not willing to welcome it in the best way and pretend that nothing happened. Philomena is Glenn’s mother and the local police chief.

Despite the deep wound inflicted on her son, the woman offers Mackenzie to collaborate. If on a professional level things seem to have taken a positive turn, certainly on a private level the detective will have to face various obstacles. First of all, the price to pay for his past choices, including the decision to leave Australia to move on and start a new life.

Finding herself catapulted into the past, she is forced to deal with what has been and what will be, considering that she still doesn’t know when she will be able to return to the United Kingdom. As if that wasn’t enough, her return is not looked upon favorably even by the city community, which has not forgotten what happened and which reserves her a cold and hostile welcome back.

The other actors in the cast

Day after day, Mackenzie also comes into contact with other characters. Among all, Detective Colin Cartwrightplayed by Lloyd Griffith. Then there are Reggie Roccoa volunteer who works with the police station, played by Celia Ireland, and Officer Felix Wilkinsonwhich has the face of Aaron L. McGrath.
