The work at Schiphol will last from Friday, January 10 to Monday, January 13. ProRail is working on the track there, which means three of the six platforms are unavailable. As a result, some trains depart from different tracks than normal and there are generally fewer trains running.

Work at the airport will become even more common in the coming period. Fewer trains will run on the route during both the last weekend of January and the first two weeks of February due to the work.

Muiderpoort and Weesp

Just like at Schiphol, work will also be done on the section of track between Muiderpoort and Weesp this weekend. As a result, there are hardly any trains on the route on Saturdays and Sundays, which affects travelers who have to travel to Hilversum or Amersfoort. However, a detour can be made via Duivendrecht station. The NS advises travelers to keep a close eye on the journey planner before departure.

Next weekend, January 18 and 19, work is also planned on the tracks around the city. The work will then start at South station, which will last a week, resulting in fewer trains running and two platforms being closed. Train traffic between Haarlem and Sloterdijk will also be suspended next weekend due to work.
