Inter anxious for Thuram. The French striker, top scorer in Serie A together with Retegui with 12 goals, was replaced at half-time of the match against Atalanta in the semi-final of the Italian Super Cup: Inzaghi took him off as a precaution due to a slight strain in his adductor left thigh. Mehdi Taremi took his place. The former Gladbach player had started the match from the first minute in tandem with Lautaro Martinez. Thuram therefore remains in strong doubt for Inter’s Super Cup final against the winner of Milan-Juventus.
