Snipes takes the next step in the US market and acquires streetwear retailer Expressions.
The acquisition was completed on March 2, Snipes announced on Thursday. The Cologne streetwear retailer Snipes has thus secured the second US company within just a few months. The takeover of Jimmy Jazz only became known at the beginning of December. Through Expressions and Jimmy Jazz, Snipes increases its US locations to 300.
Expressions is headquartered in Rhode Island and operates 35 stores. Stores are located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, allowing Snipes to strengthen in those areas.
“Expressions not only borders our current footprint, but also shares our commitment to serving sneaker and streetwear enthusiasts in their communities,” said Snipes CEO Sven Voth. “This acquisition underscores both the importance of the US market for SNIPES and the growth potential we see there.”
The parties have agreed not to disclose the terms of the agreement.
