Lions win even without Knorr

Even without DHB playmaker Juri Knorr, who was sick for the second time, the Rhein-Neckar Löwen clearly defeated HSG Wetzlar with 32:27 (17:11) and are seventh.

Melsungen, which prevailed in the unexpected top game against TSV Hannover-Burgdorf the day before Christmas Eve, will only face Frisch Auf Göppingen on Friday (7 p.m.) for the last time before the six-week break in the World Cup. The World Cup in Denmark, Norway and Croatia starts on January 14th (until February 2nd).

Magdeburg – Erlangen relocated

SC Magdeburg was again not in action. After the attack on a Christmas market in the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt last Friday, the game against HC Erlangen scheduled for Boxing Day was postponed. This was already the case in the eastern duel against Eisenach. There are no rescheduled dates for both encounters yet.
