Strawberry situation
According to Pro Agria, the first open field strawberries are already being picked in the southwestern parts of the country.
Some of the varieties are just in bloom, because with the help of different varieties and also cultivation methods, the completion of the strawberry harvest is staggered over a longer period of time. The main strawberry harvest season in open fields is estimated to start in Midsummer.
– The first raspberries from the growth tunnels are also already on sale. The currants, on the other hand, are still in the raw jelly stage, the announcement adds.
