The driver of a car drove into the water in Coevorden this evening. That happened in a canal on Churchilllaan.
The woman received help from a bystander to get to the side. The emergency services received both at the waterfront.
Both have caught a cold, but it is unclear exactly what condition they are in. According to a bystander, the driver was taken to hospital.
