Leontine Ruiters is completely exhausted at the Shownieuws desk because her podcast has a huge chatterbox content. “Get to the f*cking point“, is the fierce criticism.

Nowadays you don’t need much star status to be treated to your own podcast. Leontine Ruiters, Marco Borsato’s ex, is also talking about it these days. Together with Lonneke Nooteboom, with whom she has been friends for twelve years, she talks about the most random bits and pieces in ‘Lonneke & Leontine’. Isn’t about anything.

Emotional treasure

Leontine now expresses her gratitude for the year 2024 in that podcast (see below). “So all in all it was a fantastic year for you?” asks Lonneke.

Leontine: “Yes.”

Lonneke: “Are you getting emotional, honey?”

Leontine: “A little.”

That’s nice

Lonneke thinks that’s wonderful, those emotions. “Yes, I see it immediately. That’s nice, that’s nice. That’s nice, right? That’s gratitude, right? And you did it yourself, right? You did it yourself. That’s beautiful, isn’t that also gratitude? That’s luck, right? That’s nice. Yes. Ah, darling, but really: you did it yourself, just you, with all kinds of nice people around you, but you did it yourself.”

Leontine: “Yes. I am very grateful for a lot of things.”

Lonneke: “Yes, you are just very happy.”

Separated

Leontine then talks about her family. “For my family… We may be divorced, but we are still a family and we still celebrate all birthdays and Christmas together and I am just very grateful for a lot of things. As difficult as the divorce has been, it has also brought me a lot. It may have brought me closer to myself.”

“I just encountered myself, but I also got to know myself better. I hope that a lot of things will become clear in the new year. You got it.”

‘Jesus Christ!’

This is of course about the Marco Borsato case. To the Show newsdesk, Bart Ettekoven says: “That in itself is unique, because she almost never talks about that when asked about it. You also hear from her that there is some relief that we will finally find out the truth next year. It took a very long time.”

Ronald Molendijk then goes wild on Leontine. He doesn’t like listening to that podcast. “It’s a bit like I’m listening to a very slow car crash podcast. Jesus Christ, hey! Get to the f*cking point!”

Certain audience

Colleague Iris van Lunenburg thinks that Ronald does not belong to the target group. “It’s for a certain audience, I think. Not me, no, no, no.”

Ronald: “For whom?”

Iris: “Yes, for people who might really like this.”

Ronald: “What is wrong with those people?”

Iris: “I don’t know, but I also notice that there is a lot of repetition.”

Presenter Manuel Venderbos: “Let’s be grateful that we don’t have to listen to it.”

Bart: “I think it’s great that you show your emotions like this. Really grateful.”
