In the interview Jovanotti spoke about mother who suffered from severe depression. Francesca Fagnani asked him if in the end he managed to make her laugh as he had promised to do: “I managed to make her happy, even to laugh. She was very proud of this successful son. I noticed some sadness in her that made me very well formed”. The singer also remembered his brother Umberto, who died in 2007 in a plane crash with an ultralight in Latina (the other, Bernardo, is now in the house of Big Brother). “When my brother died, my mother’s tear sacs dried up, she wasn’t able to cry. For the rest of her life she used eye drops, she was no longer able to produce tears, they probably would have been too many” said Jovanotti, saying he had held the Bible of his brother, finding it all underlined. “The first time I opened it, I found an underlined phrase from the book of Joshua that says ‘be strong and resolute’. I tell myself this every day.”

I had lost my colors, my fundamental instrument which has always been my body. I’m working hard and in March I will be ready for the tour.”
