Sebastián González Cazón, Bachelor of Business Administration, at the Argentine Catholic Universityis the current President of the company and in this interview he shares his professional career, the challenges overcome during the pandemic and the company’s projections for the coming years, marked by expansion and innovation in the aeronautical sector.
-Profile: What was your start at Royal Class and how did you become president of the company?
-Sebastián González: I started working at Royal Class 10 years ago as a junior assistant in Administration. At the time of becoming familiar with the aeronautical industry, I became Administration Manager, a position I held for 6 years. During the pandemic I had the enormous challenge of remaining CEO of the company. As it was for everyone, they were very difficult times but, thanks to our ability to adapt and the excellent human team, we were able to quickly get ahead. This year we had a share change for foreign investors and I have the honor of being in charge of the company as President, a role that I have since performed with great pride but, at the same time, being aware of the responsibility that it entails.
-Q: What lessons did the pandemic leave in the Royal Class operation?
-SG: The pandemic prompted us to look for creative solutions in a context of crisis. We were able to adapt to changing market needs, such as the increase in demand for medical and repatriation flights. In our industry, we noticed a marked decrease in corporate flights as the pandemic forced us to go virtual by reducing in-person meetings.

-Q: How does Royal Class contribute to the health system in Argentina?
-SG: In addition to our executive air transfers, we collaborate with national institutions in the transportation of organs and medical evacuations. These operations, which we carry out in coordination with public and private organizations, reinforce our commitment to the well-being of society and the development of the country.

-Q: What services does Royal Class offer and how is its fleet made up?
-SG: We specialize in executive flights and are leaders in the sector. We have a fleet of six aircraft that adapt to various operational needs: from a helicopter for short-range transfers to transoceanic aircraft. We offer a H24 service 365 days a year, with the ability to activate a flight in less than two hours from the moment the order originates. At Royal Class we personalize each experience so that our passengers feel like they are traveling on their own private plane. This undoubtedly strengthened our relationship with clients, who trusted our ability to adapt to their needs.

Royal Class is projected into the future with a clear commitment to innovation and expansion, consolidating itself as an undisputed benchmark in executive and healthcare aviation in Argentina. Thanks to its strategic vision, commitment to excellence and a highly trained human team, the company not only overcame historical challenges such as the pandemic, but also reaffirmed its leadership by offering personalized solutions and cutting-edge services. With this strength, Royal Class continues to set the course in a key sector for the connectivity and well-being of the country.
