Two cars collided on the Gilzerbaan in Alphen on Monday evening. One of the occupants was seriously injured. The victim had to be resuscitated.
Two others were also injured, but it is not known how serious their injuries are.
The accident happened around half past eight. The police, ambulance, fire brigade and an air ambulance were immediately called in.
“I was sitting inside and heard a very loud bang,” said a woman who lives near the spot where the collision took place. “We immediately went outside, saw that something serious must have happened and called 112.
