The fifth and final round of the Champions League in track cycling in London was canceled prematurely after a serious crash during the keirin event. Britain’s Katy Marchant and Germany’s Alessa-Catriona Pröpster pushed each other at high speed to the top of the track and both fell over the boards into the crowd.
