In recent years, a six-person management team made up of department heads and authorized representatives has secured the management of the Dressler clothing works. Now the menswear specialist from Großostheim is reintroducing the role of managing director.
Thomas Jaeger will take over the position of managing director on January 1st, as the company announced on Thursday. The new boss will take up his position at the start of the season. “I’m really looking forward to my new tasks and the team at Dressler,” said Jaeger. “With its extraordinary history and high standards of material selection and product quality, the brand offers ideal conditions.”
Growth through new managing director position
Jaeger’s first order of business will be a trip to the men’s fashion fair Pitti Uomo in Florence. The brand marketing and sales expert is no stranger to the industry. He worked for the Holy Fashion Group for over 20 years, most recently as Managing Brand Director of the Strellson brand. In 2021, he also took over the CEO position at the Swiss luxury sportswear label Jet Set as a delegate to the board of directors. In July 2023, he left the company due to “different ideas about the future direction,” as the Gaydoul Group, to which Jet Set belongs, announced at the time. Jaeger most recently worked as expansion and sales manager at the Swiss loungewear label Blue Lemon.
At the menswear specialist Dressler, which belongs to Bugatti Holding Brinkmann GmbH & Co. KG, Jaeger will in future be tasked with driving forward the further development of the brand and its internationalization. According to Julius Brinkmann, managing partner of Bugatti Holding, the company has invested intensively in Dressler’s design language and brand appearance in recent years, implemented a successful logo relaunch and is now ready for the next steps in growth. In order to continue this positive development, the reintroduction of a managing director is now crucial.
