The volunteers create lasting memories for the parents in the form of a video. 3-VMBO of the Thamen Vakcollege worked hard to create a lasting memory for the volunteers themselves. Rosa ultimately designed the winning gift.
The student proudly shows off the statue that she ultimately made with a 3D printer. “The thing around it is a camera lens and in it you see the Living Memories logo,” she explains. Rosa presents the first copy to Jan Willem Winter, who has already made about thirty videos for the foundation.
Memory for life
“I didn’t know anything at all, but I am very happy with it,” says Jan Willem, who was lured to the school with an excuse. For his videos, he follows a family for a day while they do ‘normal things’.
“This gives people a valuable memory for life. Actually, it shouldn’t have been necessary and all these children should still be there, but this way you can keep them with you a bit,” he explains why he made the videos. with so much passion.
