FOUR AND 1/2 STARS
A lonely dogwith little ability to make friends, buy a robot which, in a very short time, becomes the soul mate. An accident leaves the robot, still and conscious, on a beach, and the dog desperate: he has to wait months to rescue him.
What happens from there is a series of sequences in which both live and learn, both face loss and grief, both remember and miss each other; They both rebuild lives.
He child You can watch this dynamic, beautiful film, full of clever gags and music, studded with sadness, like an adventure, wondering “will they meet again?” He adult You will see the story of a relationship that did not work, of a love that was cut short, of a sadness that heals and rebuilds.
Probably the adult (the allusions to romance, to the couple, are constant although not explicit) is much more excited than the child. The ending is beautiful, bittersweet and musical. Yes, it is a great movie.
