In De Panne they have been attracting general practitioners for the summer holidays for some time now, with free practice space and other benefits. Bredene is now going one step further, with subsidies for general practitioners who are actively looking for new doctors in their practice. This support lasts for up to six years. If they find a new GP, the municipality will step in for another three years to offer the consultation room for free, up to 8,000 euros per year.
