BC Ostend wins first match in BNXT-League

After ten national titles in a row, the sporting appetite remains strong in Ostend. BCO now also wants to win the first BNXT League. In it, the best five ranked Belgian teams compete against the five best Dutch teams in a so-called ‘cross border’ competition. BCO immediately reinforced its ambitions on the field. It had little trouble with the Dutch top team Donar Groningen, which is currently ranked third in the Netherlands. Point-guard Keye Van Der Vuurst De Vries had a large share in the resounding 89-74 victory with 15 points.
